“If you ask me what I came to do in the world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.”
Serendipity Gallery is the brainchild of frequent travel companions and sisters-in-law Rose Hagan and Lisa Anne Houdyshell. Rose and Lisa Anne share a love of art (and shopping for art), so their trips invariably include visits to local artisans and/or local galleries. This spring they decided to merge these passions into a gallery that reflects their eclectic taste and invites and encourages people to collect art.
As a painter and glass artist, Rose brings an artist’s eye and a Northern California sensibility to the collections and their display. Lisa Anne has lived in St. Louis for the last 30 years and has developed an appreciation for local artists (including her partner, Neil Brown, a local fine art photographer) as well as national artists that may not be as well known in St. Louis. Together, they have created an interesting and inviting space in the historic Delmar Loop for you to explore.
