Celtic Cross by Neil R. Brown
Head down to the East end of The Delmar Loop after the annual Tree Lighting at Fitz’s for a glass of cheer and enjoy some new prints on metal by award winning St. Louis photographer Neil R. Brown. Neil’s images become even more dramatic when reproduced on aluminum. Pick out a framed or unframed print for that special someone on your list. Limited special orders will be available.
Thank you for supporting local artists and businesses this holiday season.
Obvious Front – Capacitor Creatures
Support local businesses and local artists this Small Business Saturday.
We are very excited to host Illinois artist DeWitt Young in the gallery from Noon to 4 pm. DeWitt has transformed capacitors from computers, TVs and VCRs into magnets, standing figures, animals, earrings and more. These imaginative pieces are affordable and fun for everyone on your holiday list.
Thank you in advance for shopping local this holiday season.
Today we are celebrating our 3rd anniversary in St. Louis’ historic Delmar Loop. We love the vibe of this great street and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives the neighborhood.
We wanted to take a moment to thank our wonderful artists, past and present, for trusting us to showcase their work. We also want to thank our loyal customers who keep our doors open. It is a joy to match great art with great people.
We have talented artists, great staff and a wonderful location between the award winning Moonrise Hotel and the Pageant Theatre. In another few weeks, we will be welcoming Delmar Hall to the neighborhood. If you haven’t been in yet, stop by and see work by talented local and regional artists including owner Rose Hagan. We have metered street parking and additional free parking behind The Pageant.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Back to Day 1
The summer has flown by. We are approaching our 3 year anniversary – seems like only yesterday we were picking out hardwood flooring and deciding on artwork!
A lot has changed in east end of The Loop. We look forward to the addition of Delmar Hall (opening in October) and the apartment complex under construction just to our East. Loop Trolley construction is entering its final stages and detours are down to a minimum. Please come explore this end soon – we are in the middle of 3 Pokémon Go stops!
We are very excited to welcome a new artist to the gallery this month. JB Nearsy has relocated to St. Louis from Metro Illinois. He works with spray paint and an incredible eye for color. JB’s work will be on exhibit and for sale in the gallery through the end of November. We encourage you to stop by soon and enjoy his fresh perspective.
JB Nearsy: Remedy – Reverse Glass Painting
We cannot believe that June is at the halfway point already. The Delmar Loop is hot. Trolley construction along Delmar is nearing the end and the East end of The Loop is enjoying the transformation of the old Big Shark Space into Joe Edward’s Delmar Hall and the construction of a 14 story apartment complex on the adjacent lot.
Mannequins on The Loop
The art scene on The Loop has also been busy. Over the last few weeks The Loop hosted the 8th annual Mannequins on The Loop. Talented area artists, including our own Jon Gamache, created wonderful street art. Thanks to Audrey Jones of Figure 8 Designs for organizing this event. Congratulations to Tracey Johnson who created the winning mannequin for Avalon Exchange. The winner can be viewed at University City library.

We are very excited to welcome Spring to The Loop.
We have a lot to look forward to in The Loop right now. Loop Trolley construction is entering it’s final stages – still a few more tracks to lay and detours to navigate, but we are excited to have a link to Forest Park and the western end of The Loop. It looks like the Fall before all the work will be completed BUT the lane and parking closures should be resolved in the next few months.
We are really excited with our first two spring shows.
Please join us on April 23 for a wine reception for St. Louis painter John Salozzo. You may recognize John’s work from national magazines like Rolling Stone and Sports Illustrated or from the 1986 platinum album cover he designed for Boston. This show will feature his rocket inspired work as well as paintings of Loop favorites like Blueberry Hill and The Pin Up Bowl.
