BIOhaymartHeather Haymart

Heather Haymart is St. Louis painter with a lifelong interest in art. Heather has a BFA and BSed for Art K-12 from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While teaching high school art, Heather started an art club and developed a beautiful printmaking program for 6 years. Upon leaving academia, Heather created a successful mural painting business. Her murals can be found in private homes throughout Missouri and in various businesses including Stefanina’s in Troy, MO.

Heather began creating original paintings in 2002. This was around the same time that her mother created a texture product called Wood Icing. Heather began experimenting in texture using Wood Icing and color, and so ensued her career of art making. Heather has exhibited her work in the Forest Park Community College Art Gallery as well as the William Woods University Mildred Kemper Art Gallery. She has participated in various art fairs throughout the region including Brookside Art Festival in Kansas City, MO as well as Belleville Art Fair in Belleville, IL (both highly ranked art fairs). Heather’s work can also be found in private and corporate collections, including Barnes Jewish Hospital, Laclede Groves Retirement Community, Lechner Realty, and Strongfield Contractors. In addition to traveling the Midwest participating in art fairs, Heather also owns and manages Wood Icing Co • Heather Haymart Gallery with her mother and partner Rose Wilde.
