We are having a hard time believing that Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Where did the summer and fall go?
Our elves are hard at work getting ready for Small Business Saturday (Nov. 26), the traditional day to get out and support local businesses. We are excited to announce that DeWitt Young, the creative genius behind Obvious Front Capacitor Robots will be in the gallery on November 26, with a selection of his creatures. DeWitt takes capacitors from computers, TVs, and VCRs and transforms them into quirky bugs, robots and animals like this crazy crew:
Stop by on Small Business Saturday, meet the artist, and pick up some unique gifts for your friends and family. Robots start at $15 – an affordable and fun way to support a local business and a local artist. We will also have door prizes and snacks! Free parking is available behind The Pageant Theatre.
December is packed with fun things to do in the Delmar Loop. In fact, all you want for the holidays is in the Delmar Loop. Visit www.visittheloop.com/holidays2016 for a complete list of Loop-wide events. Santa and other holiday characters will be popping up on the weekends, starting on Dec. 2 with the annual Tree Lighting at Fitz’s.
We hope you’ll stop by the gallery during December to meet some of our favorite artists. Detailed information on individual events is located on our event page, but here is a summary. We tried to have a little something for everyone!
Thank you for shopping local and supporting the great artists in our community.
We wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving.
