We wish all of you a very happy and safe Thanksgiving!  Serendipity Gallery will be closed on Thursday and Friday to allow our staff to enjoy a bit of family time.Delmar Loop, The Delmar Loop, Small Business Saturday, Art, Gifts, Artomat

Small Business Saturday is this Saturday, November 29 – show your support for all the small businesses in St. Louis and elsewhere by taking some time away from the crowded malls to enjoy a stroll through the neighborhoods of St. Louis and take in the small shops that are adding to our local economy.  Shopping local really does matter – and, furthermore, is really appreciated by all of us.

We are doubly proud this holiday season – our second in The Loop – because not only are we a small business, so are the artists who display their work in our gallery.  We are very blessed to host some of the regions most original and talented artists and look forward to the opportunity to share their work with you.

Our space is polished and ready for Small Business Saturday!  We are very pleased to have Vanessa Gade’s statement pieces back for a second year.  We also have cookies and hot chocolate and a few door prizes.  Doors open at 11 am.

The East End of The Delmar Loop  has some amazing shops and restaurants – we look forward to seeing you this holiday season.

Winter!  Bah Hum Bug!   The cold weather is arriving in St. Louis as I type – I already miss the warm temperature of yesterday (74).

But cold weather also heralds the start of the holidays – and the holiday shopping season.  We are looking forward to our second holiday season in The Loop – with events in November featuring Barb Rand, Neil Brown, and Vanessa Gade.  Please check our events calendar for more information.

One of the fun parts of the holiday season for me is decorating – and it is such fun to see the creative works of our artists.  We have blown glass pumpkins from Chris McCarthy and our rebar Christmas Tree is in the window – loaded down with blown glass balls, also by Chris McCarthy.  Carol Zeman’s folded paper ornaments are back along with Jackie Phillips colorful wood cut outs.  We’ve added unique fused glass ornaments  by owner Rose Hagan, geometric wooden ornaments by Den Smith and quirky repurposed ornaments by Artomat® artist Amy Doherty.  We have a lot of decorating ideas, which we will happily share with you!

Please visit us and other small businesses this holiday season – mark your calendars for Saturday, November 29, Small Business Saturday.  We have special events and prizes throughout the day!

See you in the gallery soon!
