I love spring! My flower garden is in full bloom – tulips, jonquils, daffodils, hyacinth – and my flowering shrubs are sparkling with life. My allergies are killing me but it doesn’t seem to matter. Let’s face it – it was a long, long, cold winter – and we all missed the sun!
This is a weekend for family and friends, enjoying your traditions, or simply soaking up the joy that spring brings out in everyone.
Serendipity Gallery will be closed on Sunday so our gallery family can spend time with their respective families. Neil and I will be eating chocolate bunny ears, gorging on green bean casserole (my family tradition), and brunching with friends. Neil will certainly find an opportunity for some disc golf and I may tag along to search for Easter eggs and baby bunnies.
Serendipity Gallery is open today until 9:00 p.m. We invite you to enjoy National Record Store Day in the Loop. Don’t miss the bands at Vintage Vinyl or the great sales and food and drink throughout the Delmar Loop. We have some new spring art or you can pick up a perfect hostess gift for tomorrow.
Seize the day because as Mark Twain famously said – “In Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather in 24 hours!” Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
