Valentine’s Day – love it or hate it – it is just a few weeks away.
Our modern traditions of Valentine’s Day can be traced to the courtly traditions of 18th Century England when lovers expressed themselves with the exchange of flowers, candy, jewelry and greeting cards (aka valentines). Sir Hallmark of Cards must have been very busy.
Since the 19th century, mass produced valentine’s have become the norm. Be a rebel – revive the tradition of the handwritten valentine with one of JD Dehne’s clever and whimsical hand-cut valentines. It’s a card your sweetheart will cherish!
